What happens if I’m delayed in the terminal?
Let us know as soon as possible by calling 020 3011 2501. We’ll do our best to accommodate delays. Charges may apply after the free wait period, but we always try to minimise cost. Communication is key.
Will my driver be inside the terminal?
Yes. A Meet & Greet service is included as standard. Your driver will be inside the terminal holding a name board. We’ll confirm your exact meeting point based on your arrival terminal in your booking confirmation.
How do I know where my driver is?
You’ll receive full confirmation details before your pickup. We track your flight in real time and time the driver’s entry to match your landing. You’ll be told exactly where to go and who to look for.
What if I need more time than the free wait?
We’ll inform you of any extra waiting time and charges. If you’d prefer a delayed pickup (e.g. 90 minutes after landing), just let us know — we’ll book it accordingly and no waiting fees will apply.
Can I customise the driver’s entry time?
Yes, if you book by phone or speak to us after a web/app booking, you can request an earlier terminal entry (ideal for carry-on only passengers or VIPs).
Are there hidden charges like parking or drop-off fees?
No. All standard parking and airport drop-off charges are included in your fixed fare. Additional charges only apply if waiting time exceeds the 30-minute allowance.
Why does team member follow up by phone?
Our team makes a quick courtesy call to confirm any additional details the system may miss — such as luggage, preferences for timing, or special requirements. This helps us deliver a smoother, more tailored service.
What happens if I’m delayed?
Your driver will wait for 30 minutes after their terminal entry time. If there's no contact, the driver will notify dispatch, who will try to reach you and coordinate next steps. We do everything we can to keep your journey on track.
Can I be charged automatically for extra waiting time?
Not currently. Any extra time is only charged after confirmation and will be added to your final invoice with your approval.
Do you provide child seats or are they required by law?
Black taxis are legally exempt from the requirement to carry child seats. You’re welcome to bring your own, and we’ll assist in fitting it. You may request one from us in advance — we’ll do our best to provide one, though availability isn’t guaranteed.
What should I do if I miss my flight?
Let us know as soon as possible. We’ll either cancel or reschedule your booking for a later flight free of charge.
Can I bring a pet or require special assistance?
Yes. Please notify us at the time of booking if you're travelling with a pet, need wheelchair access, or require any special accommodations. We’ll do our best to meet your needs, subject to vehicle availability.

We recommend booking at least 24 hours in advance for guaranteed availability. However, same-day bookings are accepted wherever possible.
Can I add extra stops or pickups?
You can request additional stops when booking. If you need to amend or add to the route after booking, just contact us. We’ll adjust the booking and inform you of any added cost if applicable.

Call us straight away on 020 3011 2501. Our team will act immediately to assist and make sure you’re connected with your driver without delay.
Is my driver licensed and safe?
Yes. All Sherbet Ride drivers are fully licensed, insured, and background-checked. Our vehicles are Transport for London approved and maintained to the highest standards.
How early should I book?

Your booking confirmation will include the exact meeting point at your terminal. Our drivers wait inside the arrivals hall or designated meeting zone, holding a name board so you can find them easily.
